Our Mission
Practical Safety for Real-World Mobility
Aura was founded on a straightforward belief: that mobility products should be engineered to protect the people who use them, not just to meet minimum standards. Our tagline — Stabilised by structure, not software — reflects that philosophy.
We develop safety systems, accessible mobility aids and micro-EV platforms that are practical, robust and designed for long service life. Our work draws on hands-on engineering experience and direct knowledge of how mobility products perform — and sometimes fail — in everyday use.
We are at an active development stage, with several safety technologies at proof-of-concept and a growing portfolio of accessible mobility concepts informed by lived experience. We are building partnerships with manufacturers, investors and engineering organisations to bring these products to market.
